What we do on a roof
What we do on a roof, in full
Most of our work is shingle roofs on houses, from older streets near Converse Heights to newer subdivisions around Boiling Springs. We tell you when a job is not ours.
Tear-off, deck check, underlayment, flashing, vents and new shingles or metal, with the cleanup included.
We trace the water to its source and fix that first, with before and after photos.
Chimney, wall and pipe flashing, where most leaks start.
Intake and exhaust airflow in the attic, and gutters that match the new roof.
A written report on the material, condition and remaining life, for a homeowner or a sale.
A roof inspection with photos and an itemized estimate you can share with your insurer.
A roofing year in the Upstate
What each season does to a roof, and to our calendar
Fall is our busiest season, and March and April fill up as the weather settles. Here is how the year runs.
Spring
Pollen, then thunderstorms. A good time for a roof walk, a gutter check and a look at flashing before the summer storms.
Summer
Heat and humidity. Crews start early, shingles seal well, and a roof that can't breathe shows it in the attic.
Fall
The busiest season. Tropical remnants can reach the Upstate, so we book replacements ahead of the leaf drop.
Winter
Cold snaps. Shingles seal poorly below about 40 degrees, so we repair what can't wait and schedule replacements for warmer days.
