About Harrell Roofing

My father's trade, and the way he did it

I'm Kenya Harrell. My father started this company with one truck. My brother Demetrius and I run it now.

He taught us to look at the whole roof, to put what we find in writing, and to sign our own name to the work. Twenty-five people work here now, and we still do it that way.

“If you can't explain it to the homeowner on the driveway, you don't understand the roof yet.”

How we work

Three rules from the first truck

  • Look at the whole roof

A leak is one spot, but a roof is a system. We check the flashing, the vents, the deck and the attic.

  • Write it down

Estimates, options, warranty terms and changes are on paper, in plain words.

  • Sign it ourselves

Every contract goes out in the name on our license, and a Harrell reads it first.
